Jake spent his childhood in Rutland Town and now lives in the heart of Rutland City. Lucky to have a large family from the Rutland region, Jake fondly recounts that his grandparents operated a grocery store in West Rutland and peddled vegetables on West Street. While constantly drawn to the outdoors and far away places, Jake is undoubtedly happy to call Vermont home. He teaches snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking in the summer for Killington Resort. Jake has a penchant for business and values his degree in Geography from Quebec’s McGill University – he hopes that the Rutland region emanates and intensifies the welcomeness he feels in his heart.
